Terms & Conditions of Purchase

The following terms & conditions apply to all products purchased directly via DPV Pty. Ltd. or on the novaitwholesale.com.au web site.
This agreement contains the limited warranty and terms and conditions applicable to all NOVA iT WHOLESALE products such as Personal Computer Systems, Notebooks, Servers, Components and Services. Please be certain to read the individual warranties for accessories contained in the shipping detail. You agree that this agreement applies to your purchase of the product, accessories and services after your limited guarantee expires, the remaining provisions of this agreement will continue to apply as stated under.

Orders & Delivery
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All orders placed through this web site are subject to confirmation and acceptance by DPV Pty. Ltd.
DPV Pty. Ltd. may vary prices in the event of price changes or mistakes made by suppliers on reasonable prior notice to you. If DPV Pty. Ltd. requests payment for increased prices, you may cancel the order by giving notice to DPV Pty. Ltd., which must be received within seven days of the announcement of the increase.

DPV Pty. Ltd. or its agent will deliver the goods you order to the address you specify in your order, within the agreed time frame, subject to their availability. Where the goods are not available you will be notified of this by DPV Pty. Ltd. as soon as possible. Anyone at the delivery address who receives the goods will be presumed by DPV Pty. Ltd. to be authorised to receive the goods.

If there is no-one at the delivery address or no-one of appropriate age to receive and pay for the order, DPV Pty. Ltd. may charge you additional delivery fees.

Once the goods are delivered to you, you will own them and it is your responsibility if they are lost or damaged.

DOA Products, Returns & Refunds
DOA (Dead on Arrival) Products

Any product which arrives damaged or fails shortly after sale (up to 7 days from date of purchase) to an end user is considered DOA.

Step 1 : Should any DPV Pty. Ltd. product be received which is DOA, DPV Pty. Ltd. must be notified, either by phone or e-mail advising the date of purchase, invoice number and the serial number of the product. Once the operator has identified the product, a Return Authorisation (RA) number will be issued.

Step 2 : Please record the Return Authorisation (RA) number for later reference.

Step 3 : DPV Pty. Ltd. will arrange for the goods to be shipped to our office.

Step 4 : The RA number should be clearly written on a sticky label placed on the outside of the shipping carton - do not write directly on the carton. If the RA number cannot be identified the product will be returned immediately at the buyer's expense.

Step 5 : DPV Pty. Ltd. will repair or replace the product within 7 working days of its receipt, (exceptions to this may occur from time to time).

Note : If a product returned as "dead on arrival" is found not to be faulty, the buyer will be charged a no-fault fee of $100.


Restrictions Imposed by Manufacturers

Hewlett-Packard
If the product fails within 30 days of it being invoiced to the final user of the product then it is considered to be Dead On Arrival (DOA). In this case please contact DPV Pty. Ltd. If the product failure occurs outside this 30 day period it is considered to be a standard warranty call. In this case, the final purchaser of the product should contact Hewlett-Packard Customer Service on the phone warranty service call.

Netcomm/Avtek
Any product which arrives damaged or fails shortly after sale to an end user is considered DOA. If the unit is complete and in original packaging, DPV Pty. Ltd. can organise a replacement if contacted within 14 days of purchase or 30 days of sale to the end user. To organise a replacement under this scheme, contactDPV Pty. Ltd. (you may be required to forward a copy of you purchase invoice and/or the end users' purchase docket). For incomplete products or DOAs which fall outside the above parameters, warranty repairs, upgrades and replacements contact NetComm/Avtek Customer Care on (02) 9424 2055.

OKI/Mustek DOA
Any OKI/Mustek product that fails within 7 days of purchase by the end user, is considered to be DOA. Resellers are required to call IPL Datron on (02) 9698 08211 to arrange consultation with IPL Service Dept. Once the fault is verified, IPL will issue an approval number which must then be given to the DPV Pty. Ltd. Returns Department, who will issue an RA.

Sony
DPV Pty. Ltd. handles warranty repair on Sony floppy drives while all other products should be referred to the local Sony Service centre or authorised agent. Sony monitors are covered by a 3 year warranty, Sony floppy drives by a 2 year warranty and all other hardware products by a 12 month warranty.


Return & Credit of Goods

DPV Pty. Ltd. has a 7 day product return policy (see below for details).

Step 1 : Should you wish to return any DPV Pty. Ltd. product, DPV Pty. Ltd. must be notified, either by phone or e-mail advising the date of purchase, invoice number and the serial number of the product. Once the operator has identified the product, a Return Authorisation (RA) number will be issued.

Step 2 : The RA number should be clearly written on a sticky label placed on the outside of the shipping carton - do not write directly on the carton. If the RA number cannot be identified the product will be returned immediately at the buyer's expense.

Step 3 : Return the goods to DPV Pty. Ltd.. DPV Pty. Ltd. recommends that product returned by post should be sent by registered or certified mail. DPV Pty. Ltd. accepts no responsibility for loss or damage occuring in transit.

Step 4 : DPV Pty. Ltd. will repair or replace the product within 7 working days of its receipt, (exceptions to this may occur from time to time).

Note : SPECIAL CONDITIONS
No returns will be accepted after 7 days from invoice date, other than DOA products.

No returns will be accepted if goods have been opened and/or used.

Product supplied on a "NO Return" basis can not be returned to DPV Pty. Ltd. unless the product is faulty wihin the warranties imposed by statue and which cannot be excluded by agreement.

Prices & Payment

For online orders we accept payment by Visa, MasterCard & BankCard

Customers are advised that our prices are updated monthly, and are denoted on the website with the product. This is the final price at the time of purchase. We will not make a price adjustment should an order have already been shipped. Please note that Promotional price may not be applied after an order is placed. To cancel an order you may call in, and send an email to ensure the transaction is documented. Please note that the order cannot be cancelled without credit return authorisation number. Shipping costs are not refundable.

For each order, you must pay the applicable price for the relevant goods and the delivery and handling fee specified on the web site or as quoted.

Your order and credit card details are safe and secure. DPV Pty. Ltd. encrypts your personal and credit card information that protects data when it is stored in our database.

All returns for credit or exchange could be subjected to a 15% restocking fee and must be completed within 30 days from the invoice date. Most of our manufacturers simply do not allow opened non-defective items to be returned for credit or exchange.

Delivery Address and Contact Details

When placing an order with us, where we are to deliver goods to you, we require a physical street address. To assist us in processing your order, please provide your land-line phone number. Delivery is via courier and cannot be to a Post Office Box. Please note that an authorised signatory needs to be at the delivery address to sign for and collect the goods, and that photo identification may be requested.


Your Login & Account Details

It is the responsibility of the customer to protect and authorise the use of user names and passwords. DPV Pty. Ltd. will not take responsibility for customer user names and password protection. Both account & COD customers are liable to pay all monies outstanding from the purchase of goods on their account by any person that used their user name or password. You agree to release and indemnify DPV Pty. Ltd. in connection with any use (whether authorised or unauthorised) of your user name or password. DPV Pty. Ltd. may suspend or cancel your account at any time without prior notice.

in relation to goods, the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods; and
in relation to services, the supplying of the services again or the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
